Maori Inspired Weapons

Melee clubs crafted in the manner of ancient Maori weapons. Patus are traditionally painstakingly hand carved over a warrior's life span using primitive equipment from a beautiful locally sourced piece of jade.

My recreations are sustainable and hand carved from granite and marble collected from leftover pieces from home remodeling. These beautiful stones, destined for a landfill, are given new life as a modern day patu.

I also hand carve patus from wood and cast replicas in resin and aluminum for beautiful and useful objects that look as good on display as they do as a practice weapon.

Each piece is a one-of-a-kind historic weapon recreation.
